I would very much appreciate anyone who has solved the problem or someone with the knowledge to diagnose it and help solve to provide as much insight as possible. If noise continues you may need to take the computer apart to do more cleaning of the fans. Another option is to shut your computer off and let it cool down. I have looked around online and found other problems similar however the jumble of information has not lead me to a conclusion or a solution. The high pitched noise may be due to your fans needing to be cleaned, try blowing air forwards and backwards through the fan. The problem has come and gone, i had a lapse of around a month where it didnt happen this was after a move of house but i had already tried cleaning the inners for dust with compressed air, regardless the problem has returned. around 4 months ago i first encountered this problem when running a video game or even just watching a youtube video, basically anything that would be using the graphics card above basic capacity would cause it to freeze and a high pitched loop would come through either my headset or speakers depending on what i have plugged in. So i've had this computer for about a year (Windows 7) now and although its specs are falling off it does what i want it to do, basically last generation gaming such as 'League Of Legends'.
